We're not here to make the perfect photo. We're here to make photos for you — for the moments that turn into stories. I'm Nathaniel, and I'm quite good at what I do.
How I work
Rediscovering photojournalism
When I'm shooting I go back and forth between directing, and making you laugh to standing back, letting moments happen and documenting that. I never stop taking photos. The photos as a whole will tell a story, your story.
You are not awkward
Everyone is different and that's what I love most about photographing humans. No two people are alike, allowing me to observe the interaction between two people madly in love with each other and capturing that.
No fake laughs here
I am not here to tell you to smile or how to feel. When I'm shooting I am always moving around you, shouting out encouragement, leading you into movement. My style is a mix between photojournalism and detail.

Our time spent together is about creating a safe environment to be yourself and making memories within that moment. I observe, I listen. I encourage you to be your weird self. We are in this together.
